Here is a high power shot from the Blood Smear slide. The Blue arrow is pointing to an Eiosinophil. Notice the characteristic Bi-lobes nuclei. Eiosinophils play a major role in defense against parasites. So it there is a high eiosinophil count, it usually means parasite infection. Blue arrow - Eisinophil |
