Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences

**PLEASE NOTE:  Master Programs are only open to citizens or permanent residents of the USA.**

Modern biomedical science has evolved from research in individual biomedical areas to a melding of those areas into overlapping disciplines. To understand what has become a complex interdisciplinary science, the UMDNJ-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) offers a new multidisciplinary program leading to a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. The program is designed to promote integration of the various biomedical disciplines into a single graduate level educational experience, providing a broad background in biomedical science while maintaining flexibility to meet the needs and interests of individual students. The flexibility of the program allows us to design programs to accommodate individual student needs and in so doing help students find meaningful careers in the biomedical sciences.
